Events

Jerusalem's Lot was abandoned after James Boon and his followers mysteriously vanished.[1]

  • July 14: Dracula was captured in an ambush arranged by Montplier, an agent of Cagliostro. However, when the lower class stormed the Bastille, Dracula was unwittingly freed and he escaped. King Louis attempted to convince Dracula to aid in keeping order in France, but Dracula turned him down with disdain and left France.[2]

Deaths

Sir Manly Van Helsing died.[3]
