The Philosophy of Fantasia is a rather convoluted one, full of alternate universes, dimensions, and realms--multiverses and so on and so forth. Fantasia is a concept of a "shared" universe (although many timelines exist, which can be discussed further in another article).

But why? You may have checked out the crossover index and not been convinced. Well, the reasoning from my point of view is very different from Alan Moore's League or the "Wold Newton" concept spread by Farmer. Essentially, I wanted to prove that fiction could realistically take place in a different universe. Not in terms of the laws of physics, but in the terms of information; i.e. could a "Wikipedia" of sorts exist in this alternate universe? Could enough information exist to the point where this becomes realistic?

And here we are. This "encyclopedia" (if it can be called that) aims to be that "Wikipedia". As if you were a reader living in that universe (Fantasia), looking up information real in that reality. It would be a testament to the sheer power of fiction to be able to build such a world using existing source material.
